I’ve collaborated with The New Yorker, Wired, National Geographic, The New York Times, as well as many independent filmmakers and production agencies, adapting to the needs of each project. One of my notable works, The Art of Bombing Hills in San Francisco, created during my time at The New Yorker, toured various film festivals, including Mammoth Lakes, and won several awards. I was also a producer on Mountain Queen: The Summits of Lhakpa Sherpa, directed by Lucy Walker, which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2023 and later debuted on Netflix. Today, I serve as Deputy Director of Visuals, Video, at the San Francisco Chronicle, where I lead video strategy across the newsroom. I am passionate about finding stories that matter and helping shape them into compelling visual journalism. I enjoy growing teams, meeting ambitious goals, and building audiences through authentic storytelling grounded in strong ethical reporting. As the Chronicle continues to expand its visual storytelling, I look forward to helping develop impactful stories that inform, engage, and reflect the communities of the Bay Area and Northern California. Documentary filmmaking remains my greatest passion, and I am always interested in collaborating on projects as a producer, director, consultant, or scriptwriter. I am especially drawn to character-driven stories about remarkable people, often in the worlds of sports, culture, and the outdoors.
